Robert Whitehead Dedication
California State University, San Bernardino’s photographer, Robert Whitehead, was honored for the dedication of 15 pieces of artwork within the college during a reception on June 14, 2011. University Officials and College of Business & Public Administration faculty and staff attended the event. Dean Van Wart lead the group through a brief walking tour highlighting Whitehead’s work through the college office on the 2nd floor of Jack Brown Hall and concluded with a small luncheon. President Karnig and Provost Bodman were in attendance and provided opportunities for collegial discussion among faculty. The Robert Whitehead Photography Collection reflects great visual interest of both the San Bernardino and Palm Desert campuses and can be viewed throughout the College of Business & Public Administration offices on the 2nd and 4th floors. Saturday, May 28th, 2011
On Saturday, May 28th, Interim Dean, Monty Wan Wart, opened his home to over 100 international students majoring in a business or public administration degree. The party was to expose CBPA students to an American home experience as they toured the Dean’s home, interacted with faculty, and enjoyed great food and a live jazz band. The party was the first of many efforts the college will be making to better engage international students and their experience with the University. Party Photos.
