The Business Alliance is an organization aimed towards facilitating the partnership between the Inland Southern California business community and the College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA) at California State University, San Bernardino. Please join us at this event to raise funds for scholarships and build awareness of local businesses which have adopted the concept of helping the community as a part of their business model. This program is being developed by Christopher A. Suchanek, Business Alliance program chair and CEO of Firm Media in Monrovia, California. The phrase was coined by John Elkington in his 1998 book “Cannibals with Forks: the Triple Bottom.” In practical terms, triple bottom line accounting means expanding the traditional reporting framework to take into account ecological and social performance in addition to financial performance.
