Taiwan Program is the only academic program in the United States that has a sole focus of interest in Taiwanese business leadership.

 

Our Mission (我們的使命)

Our mission is to promote and develop leadership and entrepreneurship through first-rate research and educational programs that are informed by the creativity and innovation of Taiwanese entrepreneurs and business leaders. To achieve our mission, we will

  1. Establish an effective infrastructure for engaging and networking with Taiwanese business and academic communities.
  2. Conduct joint research with Taiwanese Universities on successful Taiwanese business leaders and entrepreneurs, identifying and analyzing their successful factors in light of their core values and global competition.
  3. Publish our research on Taiwanese business leadership in main-stream business journals and press.
  4. Develop instructional materials to educate domestic as well as international business students by capitalizing our knowledge on Taiwanese business leadership.
  5. Host international conferences and/or summits to foster friendship and disseminate the knowledge and experience of Taiwanese business leadership.
  6. Recruit potential Taiwanese students, mentor, and nurture them to become future business leaders.
  7. Provide needed support to our Taiwanese alumni so they can reach their full potential and highest capability in global business world.

Our Goals (我們的目標)

  • Better orient CBPA Taiwan students through the CBPA Taiwanese Student Association (TSA).

  • Expand formal relationships between CBPA and appropriate universities in Taiwan.

  • Develop networking and collaboration opportunities for students, faculty and business leaders from Taiwan.

  • Establish and support and active CBPA alumni chapter in Taiwan.

  • Recruit Taiwanese students to CBPA and particularly the MBA program.

  • Support the activities of the Inland Empire International Business Association (IEIBA) and CBPA partnership.
