International Student Services
The International Center is the primary contact for
international students including new immigrant and
permanent resident students who are nationals of other
countries. The IC assists students upon arrival with
locating temporary and permanent housing, and provides
an orientation to the community and the campus. The
IC is located in University Hall, Room 239 or call

TOEFL/IELTS
Students who have graduated from a university outside
of the United States, where the main language of
institution was not English, must pass the TOEFL
exam with a computer-based score of 213 or paper-based
score of 550 or 79 on the new Internet based exam.
Students who completed level 6 of CSUSB’s ESL
Program or score a 7.0 on the IELTS exam have also
met the Toefl requirement. Submit an unofficial copy
of the TOEFL or IELTS with the admissions packet
and have the original sent directly from ETS. Test
scores may not be more than two years old at the
time of submission of application. Additional information

If your TOEFL or IELTS score is not high enough you
may be interested in the University’s American
Culture Language Program (ACLP) or the Intensive
English Program (IEP) for more information please

Students can attend MBA Prerequisite classes while
attending ACLP/IEP Programs.
Admission of Graduates with Three-Year Baccalaureate Degrees from Foreign Universities
Applicants for graduate study who have completed baccalaureate degrees at foreign universities which require at least 15 years but less than the equivalent of 16 years of formal education must complete a minimum of 45 quarter units of additional work upon admission to California State University, San Bernardino as an undergraduate student. Thirty of the 45 units must come from courses in the Colleges of Arts and Letters, Social and Behavioral Sciences and Natural Sciences that are included in the university's general education requirements; 24 units must be taken outside the category of the major.
The exact allocation of units by category must be approved by the Office of Academic Programs. The other 15 units may, if appropriate, be used to satisfy the prerequisites for the student's intended major.
Once the courses are completed, the student must reapply to the university as a postbaccalaureate student (ie MBA Program)
