ON CAMPUS PROGRAMS:

 

INTERNSHIP ORIENTATION

Students are required to attend an internship orientation BEFORE they obtain an internship and start at their internship site.  The next Internship Orientation is scheduled for FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30th.  The session will be from 12:00 noon - 2 pm in JB-109.

 

LAST DATE TO REGISTER for an Internship Course

You MUST be enrolled in your internship class by the census date for that quarter.  Be sure you're enrolled in a 575 or 675 course before the appropriate census date.

Merrill Lynch Student Program  This program was coordinated between Professor Jim Estes and the Indian Wells ML office.   The position will consist upon completion of four phases, in one year’s time.

Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities Program (HACU)
HACU's National Internship Program (HNIP) program recruits college students for paid summer and semester-long internships at federal agencies and private corporations in Washington, D.C., and throughout the country.

Unique external Scholarship Opportunities  

SEMA Scholarships:  For students interested in the Automotive Aftermarket industry, applications usually starts during the 1st week in April
SEMA Student Program: SEMA has an outstanding student program at their annual trade show in Las Vegas during NovemberRecruitment starts in July.   
National Assoc. of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Scholarships:  For students in a business or entrepreneurial program. Deadline is usually during the 1st week in March Criteria, and Application
World Trade Week International College Scholarships:  For students concentrating in International Business; usually available to apply for during the final full week in March. 
CSUSB's Scholarship For Service (SFS) Cyber Corps Program:  For students pursuing a career in Information Security.
